I work at the church/visit people Sunday - Wednesday and Friday and work from home on Thursday. My days off is Saturday, which I spend with my family.
I like a good coffee, enjoy reading, walking and playing with my children; I don’t like onion.
I am married to Charlotte (m.2009) and have 4 children, James (b.2011), Rebecca (b.2013), Matthew (b.2021) and Emily (b.2023)
For an old hymn I would choose “When I survey” as it highlights the power of the cross; Contemporary song “What a beautiful Name” by Hillsong because it inspires me to worship.
“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12-14 (NIV)
I became a Christian when I was still a teenager in Brazil; I had a rough upbringing with some addiction problems in the family. I was feeling spiritually and emotionally lost and in my search for meaning in life. I was invited to attend an evangelical preaching crusade and the Word of God spoke to me very powerfully; I surrendered my life to Jesus; this was in 1989. God has always been faithful to me; I never regret giving my life to Him.
